John Morrison

John received his first taste of the moulding industry at age 13 when he became a clean-up boy at our Live Oak plant. Nights and summers were spent working in production and learning every step of the process to turn lumber into finger-jointed mouldings. After graduating from CSUS in 1979, John progressed into the main office to sell product for 4 recently purchased moulding plants. The 1980's saw promotions to Sales Manager and then to Purchasing Manager. In 1997, John was named President of Sunset Moulding.

When not at the office or traveling, John enjoys time in the kitchen with his wife Trish, cooking and drinking fine wines together. You can also find him in the mountains hiking, biking or going on long walks with his dog Bella. Combine all of this together, add in his children and grandchildren, and you have John’s happy place!
